250+ rigs. Four decades. One standard.
A selection of delivered programmes — and the track record behind them.
High lift, fully simulated
A complete turnkey system for an aircraft high-lift programme: the full flap and slat system with power drive. Complex mechanical design simulated exact aircraft geometry, inertia and stiffness; flight loading was applied hydraulically at each drive, with environmental chambers introducing hot air or liquid nitrogen at each unit.
RTC delivered the multi-channel control, loading and acquisition systems behind the simulation.

Unmanned production acceptance
A fully automated ATE rig for production acceptance of aircraft actuation components — high-performance hydraulic and electro-mechanical units alike. The rig runs the full test sequence with minimal operator intervention: precise control, high-speed data acquisition and complete traceability, with automated pass/fail and PAT report generation straight from the rig.
Real-time monitoring, rapid unit changeover and robust safety compliance throughout. The flexible control architecture keeps testing accurate and repeatable — and adapts as customer and aircraft requirements evolve.
Trusted where failure isn't an option
Over 100 rigs supplied through a 25-year flight-control and component testing relationship. 25 test rigs delivered to the Joint Strike Fighter programme across two decades — weapons bay door systems, actuator qualification, landing gear and arresting hook test. Qualification and PAT rigs across nuclear, defence and aerospace, delivered as complete turnkey systems.

Leak & integrity
Air-under-water and pressure-integrity rigs for leak detection on sealed components.

Actuator flushing
Stainless actuator flushing rigs — fluid circulation, oil sampling and cleanliness control.

Aggressive-fluid test
Skydrol and phosphate-ester rigs in full stainless construction.
A working history, by rig type
A selection of the group’s delivered test stands — across four decades, many still in daily service. Filter by rig type or search by name.
